Startup Weekend is a globally recognized event series in which participants turn ideas into reality over the course of a weekend. This marks the inaugural edition in Ofunato. Participants form teams through idea pitches and collaborate to build user-experience-driven products and business models within three days.

Our CEO, Kento Shirasawa, founded his business while still a high school student in Ofunato. Through this experience, he has witnessed firsthand that with the desire to take on a challenge, anyone can take that first step — regardless of location — and that having like-minded peers and a supportive community makes all the difference.
